Beach olympics consist of several sports played back to back on sand, with teams ranked on the points they accumulate across all of them. The difference from a single-sport tournament is this: a team that is weak in one event can recover in another — which keeps the competition alive until the end of the day.
If your team is flying into Turkey for a two or three day gathering and you want one day that is unmistakably the main event, this is usually it. It uses the coastline that brought you here, everybody competes in everything so nobody spends the day watching, the points table gives the trip a result people quote afterwards, and the whole thing runs on a beach rather than in a venue that has to be booked. It also scales: the same structure works for 50 people and for 300.
Beach volleyball (4x4), beach football, tug of war, relay races and a sand obstacle course are the most used components. The number of events follows the number of participants; for an event of 100 people, five events and eight teams is a typical structure.
Late August to September is ideal: the sea is still warm, the holiday peak has passed and midday is no longer as oppressive as in July. On the Aegean and Mediterranean coasts it can extend into mid-October — worth knowing if your own planning calendar assumes the season ends when the northern European one does.
In large-scale corporate events, occupational health and safety (OHS), crowd dynamics, and perimeter security are managed turn-key. Site ground assessments, emergency egress routes, and stable power infrastructure are audited by veteran event directors. Throughout the gathering, dedicated ambulances, certified first-aid medical teams, and event safety marshals remain stationed on site.
From intimate 50-person department retreats to 1,000+ employee company festivals, event flows follow precise minute-by-minute schedules. While athletic colleagues compete in high-energy sports challenges, employees seeking relaxation enjoy live music, lawn games, and wellness stations—fostering 100% company-wide engagement.
All corporate gatherings are produced under our TÜRSAB Group A-12558 accredited travel agency license with comprehensive commercial liability coverage. Direct invoicing is available in USD, EUR, or TRY for international enterprises.
No. All events are played on sand; entering the water is not part of the programme. For participants who want to swim in free time, an area with lifeguard cover is preferred.
Moving in sand is markedly more tiring than on a hard surface. Match times are therefore shortened, substitutions are unrestricted and breaks are kept long. In exchange, the risk of fall-related injury is low.
Late August and September are best; the holiday peak has passed and midday heat has dropped. On the Aegean and Mediterranean coasts it can extend into mid-October, which gives an incoming group more date options than it might expect.
Four to six depending on participant numbers. For an event of 100 people, eight teams and five events is typical; every team competes in all events across the day and the points are totalled.
