A 4x4 tournament on sand: low injury risk, naturally suited to mixed teams, and a format that fits a single day at the coast.

Beach volleyball is not indoor volleyball moved onto sand; the character of the game changes. Sand makes jumping harder and running slower, which reduces the value of athleticism and raises the value of positioning and timing. In a corporate group that naturally narrows the gap between levels.
Professional beach volleyball is 2x2, but that format is far too demanding for a corporate group: two people must cover the whole court and inexperienced players are constantly exposed. A 4x4 layout shrinks the area each person covers, lengthens rallies and gets everyone touching the ball. This is the standard choice for corporate tournaments and it is the setting that decides whether the day is fun or humiliating.
Group stage plus knockout, played as single sets to 21. An eight-team tournament completes comfortably in a day. Besides coastal venues, it can also be run on sand courts inside cities, which shortens travel time considerably.
Turkey's coastline means this can be placed almost anywhere a coastal programme already goes — the Aegean and Mediterranean resort regions, or the beach areas near Istanbul. The season overlaps with the months most companies run summer offsites, and the midday heat constraint is the thing to plan around rather than discover: a June to September programme is built as a morning block and a late-afternoon block with the middle of the day given to something shaded. Refereeing and briefing can be run in English.
This is one of the best formats for genuinely mixed teams. There is no contact, sand reduces the athletic gap, and rotation puts everybody in every zone. For companies with a participation target across a mixed-nationality, mixed-age group, it delivers without any special adjustment to the rules.
Employee safety is paramount across all our team building and sports experience operations. All technical gear (including CE and UIAA-certified helmets, harnesses, life vests, radios, or racing systems) meets stringent international safety benchmarks. Courses are facilitated by licensed instructors, federation trainers, and certified outdoor guides. Prior to activity commencement, comprehensive safety briefings are delivered, with certified first-aid paramedics stationed on site.
Every program is tailored to your team's age profile, physical readiness, and strategic objectives (such as cross-silo trust, problem solving, or decompression). Progressive difficulty tracks ensure even first-time beginners participate with confidence. Accommodating intimate executive offsites of 15 leaders up to company-wide festivals of 300+ delegates, simultaneous squad rotations guarantee seamless engagement.
All operations are backed by our TÜRSAB Group A-12558 licensed corporate travel agency accreditation. Share your expected headcount, date window, and add-on preferences (executive VIP shuttles, outdoor banquets, or luxury resort accommodation), and we deliver your official formal proposal within 24 hours. Direct corporate billing is supported in USD, EUR, or TRY for global clients.
Yes. Many cities have sand-court facilities, which makes the same format possible without travelling to the coast and cuts transfer time considerably. For a group whose programme is otherwise city-based, this is usually the more practical version.
The 4x4 format is chosen precisely for this: the area each player covers shrinks, rallies lengthen and everyone touches the ball. A short serve-and-bump session can be added before the tournament for groups with no volleyball background at all.
Yes, and beach volleyball is one of the best formats for it. There is no contact, sand reduces the athletic gap and rotation puts everyone in every zone. No additional house rules are needed to make it work.
June to September is standard. In July and August the midday hours are unsuitable because of sand temperature, so the programme is split into morning and late-afternoon blocks. On indoor sand courts the season can extend across the whole year.
