What counts as an outdoor corporate event?
An outdoor event is any group activity held outside: hiking, water sports, adventure activities and team games in nature or in open spaces. In a corporate setting it usually means a team leaving the office for a half or full day to complete something together outdoors.
Thinking about outdoor activities in three groups makes choosing easier:

Outdoor company events in Istanbul and across Türkiye
Half a day in Belgrad Forest
Inside Istanbul, 40–60 minutes from the business districts: a waymarked route around the historic dams, lunch in a picnic area and back by about 2 pm. Add orienteering or team tasks to make it a full day.
Polonezköy and Şile
A picnic and sports day in green areas close to the city, or weekend yoga by the sea in Şile. A short coach ride, a full day in nature.
Canoeing and rowing on Lake Sapanca
About 1.5 hours from Istanbul: two-person canoes on a wave-free lake, dragon boats for larger groups. Far less likely to be cancelled than a sea programme.
Orienteering and team tasks
Small teams find control points with map and compass, set up in a forest, park or campus. Rules and formats are covered on our blog.
Adventure days
Rafting on grade II–III rivers, tandem paragliding with a pilot, a sunset ATV ride in Cappadocia. Adventure activities are usually planned as part of a wider trip.
Paintball, airsoft and archery
Scenario-based paintball and airsoft days run on mission cards and a scoreboard; archery is a no-fitness-needed station that can be set up in a garden, car park or hall.
Outdoors on the water
A sailing day, a bay-hopping boat day or yoga on a boat. Every yacht has an instructor on board; details are on our boat events page.
Weather plan B
Every outdoor programme has a backup date or an indoor alternative agreed upfront: the gravel dam route for hikes in the rain, a shortened course for sailing in strong wind, an alternative activity nearby if flights are cancelled.
