Internal Company Sports Tournaments
A tournament between your own employees, built around department teams.
An internal tournament is different from a one-day event: it produces a fixture list spread over weeks, a league table that updates, and a rivalry people talk about in the office. We build the fixtures, bring the referees and scoring system, and run the finals day.

When is an internal tournament the right choice?
When departments do not know each other, when the team is growing fast, or when there is no shared topic left in the office, an internal tournament does what a one-day event cannot: it creates a shared agenda that lasts for weeks.
A single event leaves a memory; an eight-week fixture list leaves a habit and a sense of belonging. That makes an internal tournament one of the lowest cost-per-head and longest-lasting formats available.
What the organisation includes
Fixtures and format design
A league, groups plus knockout, or a single-day format depending on team numbers, with match lengths and pitch capacity calculated in.
Balancing the teams
Department squads are built with squad size and skill level in mind; a tournament dominated by one department loses interest in week one.
Referees and observers
Independent referees are essential. Supplying referees from inside the company creates problems at the first objection.
Standings and communication
A weekly league table, ready-made visuals for internal comms and match summaries.
Venue and equipment
Indoor or outdoor pitch booking, kits, balls, nets and a scoreboard.
Health and safety
Medical personnel on site, health declarations collected and insurance cover.
Finals day and awards
The final match, trophies and medals, photography and video, and the presentation.
An inclusive parallel sport
A parallel discipline (table tennis, darts, boules) for employees who do not play football — it raises participation markedly.
How the quote takes shape
The cost of an internal tournament depends on the number of teams, the sport, the venue and the duration; no figure can be given without those four inputs, which is why there are no prices on this page. The quote is settled in three steps.
Teams and sport
How many departments, how many teams, which sport; the format (league, group plus knockout, one day) is set with the goal that everyone plays at least three matches.
Venue and calendar
Your own pitch or a hired facility; weekday evenings or a single day. Facility availability sets the fixtures; a site survey is done.
Scope and contract
Referees, medical cover, bibs, awards, photo and video and catering are chosen individually; the quote shows fixed and per-team lines separately and states what it does not include.
Which sports can it be built around?
The sport is chosen around the fitness and age profile of the team. In tournaments confined to a single sport, a significant share of employees falls outside the scope.
