Company Trip Organisation in Turkey: Day Trips and Weekend Team Trips
Trips that put the whole company, a department or newly merged teams on the same coach, at the same table and in the same game: we plan the route, transport, accommodation and the programme on the ground.
A company trip is a group trip that takes employees out of the office for a day or a weekend; the aim is not a reward or a meeting but time together and a stronger team. From Istanbul, the most popular day trips are Sapanca, Şile–Ağva, the Belgrad Forest, the Princes’ Islands and Bursa–Cumalıkızık; for one or two nights, Cappadocia, Antalya, Bodrum, Çeşme and Çanakkale–Bozcaada stand out. Every trip balances culture, nature and a light sporting experience with free time. As a TÜRSAB-licensed travel agency (A-12558) we run transport, accommodation, guides and activities as one team, with a formal quote within 24 hours.

What is a company trip, and who is it for?
A company trip (also a staff trip, team trip or department trip) is a trip the whole company or a department takes together, with no performance threshold for taking part. Common triggers include a mid-year or year-end trip, welcoming new joiners, a break after an office move or an intense project, and bringing two teams together after a merger or restructuring. For a programme that continues after the trip, see our first 90 days sports programme for new and merged teams.
Being clear about intent helps you pick the right page: if the trip is a reward for a sales team or dealers who hit their targets, see incentive travel in Turkey; if the weight of the programme is meetings, strategy and leadership sessions, see corporate retreat organisation. For a single outdoor day within the city, see company picnic and sports activities.
Company trip ideas by destination. For day trips from Istanbul, the favourites are kayaking and cycling on the lakeside at Sapanca, a cycling tour of the Princes’ Islands, trekking in the Belgrad Forest and a treasure hunt in Bursa that can include the Ottoman village of Cumalıkızık. Teams based in Ankara can build a day around a treasure hunt in Ankara by Lake Eymir, and teams in Izmir around an Izmir treasure hunt with an Alaçatı route. For weekends, Cappadocia, Antalya, Bodrum and Çanakkale and Bozcaada stand out.
If fitness levels in your team vary, read how we balance the programme in choosing activities for mixed-fitness teams; for weather and cancellation scenarios, see our corporate event risk plan.
Where to go on a company trip: destinations by trip length
Decide the length first (a day or one to two nights) and the departure city, then choose the programme that suits your team. Travel times are approximate and vary with traffic and season.

Weather-dependent experiences such as balloon flights, sailing and rafting are always planned with a backup morning, a backup day or an indoor alternative.
What we organise on a company trip
Transport: coach, flights, transfers
Tourist coaches from your office or agreed pick-up points on day trips; group flight bookings, airport meet-and-greet and hotel–activity transfers on weekends. We also bring teams travelling from different cities together at a common point.
Accommodation
Hotels, boutique hotels or resorts that suit the group size and programme; room allocation and single/twin preferences are agreed in writing before the guest list is finalised.
Culture + nature + sport balance
Every trip has a cultural stop, a nature experience and a light sporting activity everyone can join, with free time in between. The programme is not exhausting, so the team still enjoys each other’s company on the way home.
Guiding
Professional guides at historic sites and on city tours; English and Turkish commentary for teams with international colleagues.
Team game
A half-day game that mixes departments: treasure hunt, orienteering or mini olympics. It gives the trip’s team-building goal a concrete moment.
Dinner and closing
On weekend trips, a dinner that brings the whole group to one table; optionally a short speech, a photo slideshow or a small celebration.
Split programmes for large groups
On trips of 300+ people the team is split into groups that rotate between stations, so nobody queues and capacity-limited experiences (balloons, boats) are shared fairly.
TÜRSAB A-12558 licensed agency
We manage transport, accommodation, guides and activities under one contract as a licensed travel agency. We recommend confirming in writing at quote stage which insurance cover is included in the package.
How is a company trip quote put together?
There are no prices on this page; cost depends on group size, number of days and nights, mode of transport, accommodation level and dates. The quote takes shape in three steps.
Purpose and group
Why the trip is happening (bonding, new joiners, post-merger, end of a period), group size, departure cities and the range of fitness levels.
Length and route
A day trip or one to two nights; two or three route options, each with a weather plan and a backup.
Programme and logistics
Transport, accommodation, guides, activities and meals; the quote lists every item separately and states clearly what is and is not included.
