Corporate Sports Membership in Türkiye: A Programme Built Around Your Team, Not a Gym Card
Instead of handing out a card and hoping it gets used, a weekly sports programme built around your team’s schedule, location and interests.
Most companies looking for a corporate sports membership want one outcome: employees who exercise regularly. We deliver that not with a classic gym membership but with a corporate sports programme designed around your team: weekly Pilates and yoga classes in the office, spinning and swimming groups at times reserved for your company, a fitness package that starts with instructor support in the first weeks, and team sports for those who want them. We plan sports and venues through the Sporara venue network, based on where your offices are and where your employees live. To be clear from the start: we do not offer a “one card for every gym” membership product; what we offer is a managed, instructor-led programme.

Corporate gym membership or corporate sports programme?
A corporate gym membership is a model in which a company signs an agreement with one or more gyms on behalf of its employees, and each employee goes to the gym on their own. It provides access but does not guarantee participation: for an employee who walks into a gym alone without knowing what to do, the first weeks are the hardest, and that is when most people drop out.
In a corporate sports programme the class time, instructor and group are fixed; employees join a class in their calendar rather than a gym. The weekly office yoga hour and weekly in-office Pilates take place in a meeting room. Spinning and swimming packages run as fixed sessions reserved for your company. For employees who want gym access, the weekly fitness package combines access at selected gyms near the office or home with four weeks of instructor support at the start.
Teams interested in team sports can set up a company team in football, basketball or volleyball; for a permanent structure, see our company sports club page. If the programme is part of a wider health and wellbeing strategy, our corporate wellness programme page will help, and if you cannot decide between Pilates and yoga, read our guide to choosing the right package.
Corporate gym membership vs corporate sports programme
The two models reach the same goal by different routes. Which one suits you depends on how much your employees exercise today.
| Criterion | Corporate gym membership | Corporate sports programme |
|---|---|---|
| What does the employee get? | Entry to a partner gym | An instructor-led class or group on a fixed day and time |
| Where? | Wherever the gym is | In the office (yoga, Pilates, stretching) or at selected venues near the office and where people live |
| What keeps people coming? | Their own motivation | A class in the calendar, the group and the instructor’s follow-up |
| Beginners | Mostly on their own | Beginner level and easier variations; four weeks of instructor support in the fitness package |
| Range of sports | Limited to what the gym offers | Pilates, yoga, fitness, swimming, spinning, racket and team sports, chosen by your team’s interests |
| Reporting | Varies by agreement; usually entry counts | Aggregate participation rate for the company; no individual data shared |
| Team effect | Individual activity | Groups sharing the same class, mixing departments |
| Best for | Employees who already train regularly and have a gym habit | Teams who are new to exercise or want to raise regular participation |
The two models are not mutually exclusive: the weekly fitness package for employees who want gym access and in-office classes for everyone else can sit in the same programme.
Building blocks of a corporate sports programme
Weekly office yoga hour
45–60 minutes of yoga in the office on the day and time you choose, at an intensity that needs no change of clothes, with a chair yoga option for those who prefer not to use the floor.
Weekly Pilates
Mat Pilates focused on core strength and posture for desk-based staff; in a meeting room, one or two sessions a week. Reformer Pilates can be arranged as an employee benefit through a studio agreement.
Weekly fitness package
Access at selected gyms near the office or where employees live; four weeks of instructor support at the start, an optional baseline assessment and a personal starter programme.
Weekly spinning package
Group classes with a fixed quota on a day and time reserved for your company; resistance is set individually, so differences in fitness level do not matter.
Weekly swimming package
A pool agreement, fixed session times and a separate beginners’ group for non-swimmers; women-only sessions can be planned on request.
In-office break programmes
Desk yoga breaks and stretching workshops: short, equipment-free sessions focused on the neck, shoulders and lower back.
Racket sports
Weekly company padel, tennis and pickleball programmes, with court and coach planning.
Team sports
Company teams and training routines in football, basketball, volleyball and more, with a route into corporate leagues for teams who want it.
Sport and venue planning
Venues matched to offices and residential areas through the Sporara venue network; a separate plan for each location for companies with several offices.
Participation report
The company receives an aggregate participation rate, with no individual data shared. The first period’s data is used to expand or narrow the programme.
What shapes the quote?
There are no prices on this page; cost depends on the number of participants, the sports, session frequency, whether classes take place in the office or at a venue, and the number of locations. The quote takes shape in three steps.
Team and interests
How many employees, which offices, and which sports interest them? Starting with a short employee survey is recommended.
Sports and locations
In-office classes are separated from venue-based packages, and venues are matched to offices and residential areas.
Period and measurement
Start with a trial period and adjust the programme based on aggregate participation data; the quote lists every item separately.
