How do you plan a winter corporate event?
The most common mistake in a corporate winter programme is assuming that everyone skis. In a typical company team a few people ski regularly, a few have tried it once or twice, and most have never skied at all. These three groups cannot share a slope; unless the programme is built around three levels and a separate flow for non-skiers, the event splits in two.
This is how we set it up: beginners start on the nursery slope with instructor-led ski lessons (six to eight participants per instructor at most), intermediates ski blue runs with partial coaching, and regular skiers are free to roam. Non-skiers get a snowshoe walk and a snowmobile tour. Lunch and dinner bring the whole group back together, which is what turns a ski weekend into ski team building. If the snow falls short, or you would rather stay in the city, indoor options are ready: ice skating, curling, a bowling tournament and an escape room. Our new-year team building camp, which pairs a goal-setting workshop with a snow activity, is a popular format for January.

Start with where the team is travelling from and how many days it has; then choose the resort by snow quality and the runs you expect.

All snow activities depend on snow conditions. If there is not enough snow, the programme switches to indoor or alternative activities; dates and resort are confirmed accordingly.
Our winter programmes
Corporate ski trip with overnight stay
A 2–3 day corporate ski tour (12–80 people): level groups, instructor-led sessions, group lunches and dinners, and a closing dinner.
Instructor-led groups for non-skiers
After two days, complete beginners can ski a blue run under control; beginner groups are planned for 8–48 people.
Snowboarding in Uludağ and Kartepe
With separate instructors and a separate day plan from skiing: an Uludağ snowboard weekend (8–40 people) or a day of snowboarding in Kartepe (10–40 people).
Snowshoe walks
A winter team building format anyone who can walk can join; can be run as a day trip in Kartepe (6–60 people).
Snowmobile tours
A 30–60 minute guided convoy ride, no driving licence needed; around Uludağ, Kartepe, Kartalkaya, Palandöken and Sarıkamış (6–60 people).
Ice skating
The winter activity that does not depend on snow: instructor-supported ice skating on an indoor rink in Istanbul (6–60 people).
Curling
An ice game almost nobody has played before, built on communication and strategy; a 2–3 hour curling event (6–60 people).
Indoor tournaments
Weather-proof options for January and February: a bowling tournament (20–150 people) or an escape room (6–100 people).
New-year camp after the holidays
