Teachers’ Day (24 November) Events in Turkey: Celebrations, Team Activities and Trips for Trainers
Celebration dinners, team activities, tournaments and overnight weekend trips on 24 November for your in-house trainers, academy team or school teaching staff.
In Turkey, 24 November is Teachers’ Day, and it is not only a day for schools: corporate training departments, in-house academies and internal trainer teams are full of people who share knowledge all year. 24 November is the most natural moment to thank them. From a celebration dinner to a half-day team activity, a trainers’ tournament or an overnight weekend in Sapanca, Abant or Cappadocia, we design the programme and handle venue, transport, accommodation and activities as one team. We are a TÜRSAB-licensed agency (A-12558) and send a formal quote within 24 hours.

What can you plan for your trainers and teachers on 24 November?
Trainers spend their time developing other people and rarely get time for themselves. A good Teachers’ Day programme therefore does two things: it says thank you (a recognition moment, a celebration dinner) and it creates room to recharge (a day outdoors, breathwork and mindfulness, a fun team game). An overnight weekend trip combines both in one programme.
For companies: HR and training departments bring together their internal trainers, academy team and volunteer mentors on 24 November, often as the close of a trainer development year or the launch of the next training plan. For schools and education institutions: we organise celebration dinners, after-school tournaments and weekend trips for teaching staff.
For venues, see corporate event venues; for trip routes, company trip organisation; for more ideas, our corporate event ideas and how to build team spirit articles. For tournaments, see our chess and esports tournament and internal sports tournament pages; for a day outdoors, our outdoor events page.
24 November 2026: which day, which format?
24 November 2026 falls on a Tuesday. Schools and offices are open, so the celebration usually goes to the evening of the day or to the weekend before or after.
| Date | Suitable format | Note |
|---|---|---|
| 21–22 November (Saturday–Sunday) | Overnight weekend trip | The weekend before Teachers’ Day; secure hotel options in October |
| Tuesday 24 November, evening | Celebration dinner and recognition moment | After school and office hours; book the venue early |
| Tuesday 24 November, afternoon | 1–2 hour workshop or mini tournament in the office | Breathwork and mindfulness, darts, table tennis, chess |
| 28–29 November (Saturday–Sunday) | Overnight trip or a day outdoors | The weekend after; a backup plan for late-November weather |
| A working day in November | Half-day team activity | Treasure hunt, escape room, bowling; fitted to the training calendar |
Hotel demand in Antalya will be high from 9 to 20 November because of COP31; for November trips we recommend Sapanca, Abant, Cappadocia or Bursa.
Teachers’ Day activities for trainers
Celebration dinner and recognition
Venue selection, stage and sound, recognition moments such as “trainer of the year” and a short speech flow. We can also work with a venue or caterer of your choice.
Breathwork and mindfulness workshop
A 60–90 minute recharge session for trainers who are on stage all year; in the office, at a hotel or outdoors.
Trainers’ tournament
Bowling, darts, table tennis or chess: a short, inclusive tournament for trainers and teaching staff, with an awards ceremony.
City team game
Teams solving challenges in Istanbul’s historic peninsula, Bursa’s Hanlar district and Cumalıkızık, or Ankara’s Hamamönü; 2–4 hours.
Overnight weekend: Sapanca
Canoeing and rowing on the lake, cycling and walking among autumn colours, an awards dinner in the evening; by coach from Istanbul.
Overnight weekend: Abant
A walk around the lake and a yoga camp; a quiet recharge weekend. It can be cold in late November, so an indoor programme is kept ready.
Overnight weekend: Cappadocia
A sunrise balloon flight (wind dependent, with a backup morning), ATV and a valley walk; domestic flight to Kayseri or Nevşehir.
Trip logistics
Coach or flights, hotel, transfers, guiding and the programme, handled by a TÜRSAB-licensed agency (A-12558).
How is the quote put together?
There are no prices on this page; cost depends on group size, format, number of nights and dates. November weekends fill up quickly, so the first step is the date and headcount.
