A corporate five-a-side league built outside the tourism season: a format played uninterrupted on open pitches through the winter.
The corporate league calendar in Antalya is built the opposite way round to the rest of Turkey. Where winter carries postponement risk in other cities, in Antalya it is the best period of the year for pitch sport; the real constraint is summer heat and the workload of the tourism season.
This page covers how the league is set up in Antalya. For the format, squad sizes and match rules, see our corporate five-a-side league page.
In tourism and tourism-related services, May to October is when staff are busiest and annual leave is lowest. Regular league attendance is not realistic in those months. Antalya leagues are therefore built for November to April: the weather suits open-pitch play, hotel and agency teams are available, and pitch availability is high.
Antalya is where many international hotel and resort operators run their Turkish properties, and this league answers a problem specific to them: keeping a core workforce engaged and in place through the off-season, when the property is quiet and staff who leave do not always come back. A weekly fixture from November to April is one of the few structured things a hotel can offer its year-round team in exactly the months when there is least to do — and unlike most engagement activity, it is visible to the staff who matter most to the following season.
In summer, coastal formats are recommended instead of the league: beach volleyball and beach football suit both the season and the geography and can be built as single-day events. Teams then carry over into the winter season without dispersing.
Throughout the competition, occupational health and safety (OHS) standards are rigorously enforced. Matches are hosted exclusively in professional athletic facilities featuring shock-absorbing flooring, climate control, and certified lighting. To eliminate workplace disputes, all games are officiated by independent, licensed federation referees and official scoring table judges. A certified on-site emergency first-aid responder is stationed throughout all fixtures, with health clearance forms systematically verified.
Tournament structures adapt to your headcount. For teams of 20–50 participants, intensive single-day corporate cup formats build high-energy camaraderie. For enterprises of 100–500+ employees, season leagues spanning multiple weeks sustain cross-departmental engagement. Spectator cheering awards, halftime skill challenges, and weekly internal newsletter recaps ensure comprehensive inclusion.
All tournaments are delivered under our official TÜRSAB Group A-12558 licensed travel agency accreditation with transparent corporate contracts. Upon providing your team size, target location, and preferred calendar, we deliver your official line-item RFP proposal within 24 hours. Direct corporate billing in USD, EUR, or TRY is supported for multinational procurement desks.
For two reasons. Winter in Antalya suits pitch sport and postponement risk on open pitches is low. In the same period the tourism sector is out of season and staff are available. In summer, both heat and workload make regular attendance impossible.
Out of season, hotels' core staff join the league comfortably. The fixture is planned not to clash with hotels' maintenance and training calendars. Where a hotel has its own pitch, hosting can be shared in rotation.
The regular league stops; single-day beach volleyball or beach football events can be planned instead. This stops teams dispersing and eases the transition into the winter season.
Four is the lower limit. Leagues of six to eight teams are common around the centre of Antalya. Where tourism businesses are concentrated, forming a separate group of hotel teams is also possible.
It is defined in the league rules. The common practice is to accept staff employed at the business for the duration of the league; because seasonal headcount has already narrowed in the winter period, this rule causes no problem in practice.
