Rowing Instruction Programme
Applied rowing instruction that moves from the ergometer to the water: stroke technique, synchronisation and boat balance. No experience needed.
Applied rowing instruction that moves from the ergometer to the water: stroke technique, synchronisation and boat balance. No experience needed.
Rowing instruction is a programme in which the technique is learned on land and applied on the water. That order is not incidental: correcting a fault while a boat is rocking is close to impossible, whereas on an ergometer the movement can be stopped and worked through piece by piece.
The rowing stroke begins with a push from the legs, continues through the body and finishes with the arms — the mistake almost every beginner makes is to attempt the reverse and pull with the arms. On the ergometer that sequence settles within the first session. Participants feel in their own legs, within ten minutes, that the belief "rowing is an arm sport" is wrong.
This is the practical reason to choose this page over the other rowing programmes when your group is travelling on fixed dates. If the weather closes the water, the whole session can be delivered on ergometers in an indoor space — the technical content is identical and only the final application is lost. No other water-based activity in the catalogue has that property, and for a team that has flown in and has one slot, it is worth more than the view.
This programme focuses on learning the technique and is built as a single session or a short series. If you want a company crew that trains regularly, the corporate rowing team programme is the right one; rowing instruction is usually planned as the first step of that process. If you want to complete a route rather than learn a stroke, the paddling adventure is the third option.
Our training curricula are structured around scientific movement mechanics, ergonomics, and safe posture development without overexerting corporate employees. Sessions are led by national athletes, federation-certified senior coaches, and sports physiotherapists. Facility hygiene, proper ventilation, surface safety, and first-aid measures are comprehensively maintained.
Timings integrate seamlessly with your company calendar: pre-shift morning awakenings, lunchtime mobility breaks, or post-work weekly sports club sessions. Programs can be held directly inside your corporate campus or at contracted top-tier athletic centers near your office. Differentiated beginner, intermediate, and advanced tracks ensure everyone progresses comfortably.
All training operations are governed by our TÜRSAB Group A-12558 corporate travel agency credentials and corporate service agreements. Upon receiving your employee headcount and desired frequency, we provide your line-item RFP proposal within 24 hours. Direct invoicing is available in USD, EUR, or TRY for global enterprises.
Buoyancy aids are mandatory for everyone and the programme runs wearing them. Non-swimmers take part comfortably in stable boats; swimming ability is asked at registration and boat allocation follows it.
No. The rate is kept low in an instruction session and technique takes priority. Rowing works the whole body, but the load is light during the learning stage. Participants with disc or shoulder conditions are advised to seek medical opinion.
It depends on the city: the Golden Horn and sheltered bays in Istanbul, the lakes at Sapanca and Iznik, and marina areas on the Aegean and Mediterranean coasts. When conditions are unsuitable the programme can be delivered entirely on ergometers indoors, which is why it survives a bad-weather day.
The half-day format is three to four hours and covers the ergometer work plus a first experience on the water. In the full-day format the time on the water increases and the synchronisation work goes deeper. Across multiple sessions, progress accelerates markedly.
