Istanbul Corporate Ice Skating Event
A group event on an indoor rink: no snow needed, inside the city, and everyone starts from exactly the same place.
A group event on an indoor rink: no snow needed, inside the city, and everyone starts from exactly the same place.
Ice skating is the only winter-themed corporate option that is not dependent on snow. Indoor rinks operate year round; the programme can be built the same way in December or in July, and there is no cancellation risk at all.
The large majority of participants have never skated, and for the first ten minutes everyone holds the barrier. In a corporate group this produces an unexpected equality: seniority, age and sporting background confer no advantage on the ice. Falling together and holding on to each other creates more natural interaction than a designed team exercise. For a group meeting for the first time, or one mixing people from several offices, that levelling is the point.
For an incoming team this is the winter activity that cannot fail. It needs no snow, no weather window and no transfer out of the city, and it runs in a two to three hour block that fits an evening. Where a winter programme wants a seasonal feel but cannot absorb a cancellation, this is the answer rather than a trip to a mountain.
Gloves are mandatory — hands are the most commonly injured area in a fall. Helmets are recommended particularly for first-timers and are available at the facility. Wrist guards can be requested. Falling is inevitable, and the safe falling position is demonstrated in the briefing.
Employee safety is paramount across all our team building and sports experience operations. All technical gear (including CE and UIAA-certified helmets, harnesses, life vests, radios, or racing systems) meets stringent international safety benchmarks. Courses are facilitated by licensed instructors, federation trainers, and certified outdoor guides. Prior to activity commencement, comprehensive safety briefings are delivered, with certified first-aid paramedics stationed on site.
Every program is tailored to your team's age profile, physical readiness, and strategic objectives (such as cross-silo trust, problem solving, or decompression). Progressive difficulty tracks ensure even first-time beginners participate with confidence. Accommodating intimate executive offsites of 15 leaders up to company-wide festivals of 300+ delegates, simultaneous squad rotations guarantee seamless engagement.
All operations are backed by our TÜRSAB Group A-12558 licensed corporate travel agency accreditation. Share your expected headcount, date window, and add-on preferences (executive VIP shuttles, outdoor banquets, or luxury resort accommodation), and we deliver your official formal proposal within 24 hours. Direct corporate billing is supported in USD, EUR, or TRY for global clients.
Most participants are in exactly this group. The first 20-30 minutes are run with instructor support and balance aids are available for beginners. Everyone starting from the same place is the most-liked feature of the event.
No. Indoor rinks operate year round and the programme is completely independent of the weather. For companies wanting a winter theme without taking a cancellation risk, this is the safest option available.
Thick socks and gloves. Skates are hired at the facility. Gloves are mandatory because hands are the most commonly injured area in a fall. Helmets and wrist guards are available at the facility and are recommended.
A typical corporate programme is two to three hours: equipment, the instruction section, free skating and the games block. In longer programmes fatigue becomes noticeable among beginners.
