Corporate MMA Workshop
A controlled MMA workshop introducing standing and ground techniques: grappling fundamentals, mat work, no competition.
A controlled MMA workshop introducing standing and ground techniques: grappling fundamentals, mat work, no competition.
An MMA workshop differs from the other combat workshops on one point: it includes ground work. In a corporate setting that has two practical consequences — mats are mandatory, and physical contact between participants is unavoidable. This is therefore the workshop with the most tightly defined contact rules.
Worked on: stance and distance, basic hand and foot techniques (on pads), takedown defence, the concept of position on the ground and escape movements. Not worked on: chokes, joint locks, any contact to the face, and free sparring. None of these are applied in a corporate workshop.
Ground work attracts unexpected interest in corporate groups because what decides the outcome is leverage and position rather than strength. A smaller participant in the right position can control someone markedly larger. This is the moment groups talk about most, and for most participants it produces a takeaway they had not expected from a martial art.
Close physical contact between colleagues is normal in some workplace cultures and genuinely uncomfortable in others, and with a group drawn from several countries you cannot assume. Where you are hosting visiting colleagues or clients rather than running a session for your own team, the non-contact workshops — boxing, karate, capoeira — carry the same appeal with none of this to manage. Where the group is your own and has opted in, this is the most technically interesting session in the set.
Our training curricula are structured around scientific movement mechanics, ergonomics, and safe posture development without overexerting corporate employees. Sessions are led by national athletes, federation-certified senior coaches, and sports physiotherapists. Facility hygiene, proper ventilation, surface safety, and first-aid measures are comprehensively maintained.
Timings integrate seamlessly with your company calendar: pre-shift morning awakenings, lunchtime mobility breaks, or post-work weekly sports club sessions. Programs can be held directly inside your corporate campus or at contracted top-tier athletic centers near your office. Differentiated beginner, intermediate, and advanced tracks ensure everyone progresses comfortably.
All training operations are governed by our TÜRSAB Group A-12558 corporate travel agency credentials and corporate service agreements. Upon receiving your employee headcount and desired frequency, we provide your line-item RFP proposal within 24 hours. Direct invoicing is available in USD, EUR, or TRY for global enterprises.
No. Free fighting, chokes and joint locks are not applied in a corporate workshop. Partner exercises are controlled, supervised by the coach and limited to predetermined movements.
Ground work requires close contact and it may not suit everyone. Participation is voluntary and a separate flow is defined for those who want to join only the non-contact sections — pad work, stance and distance. Pairing takes participant preferences into account. For a mixed international group, a non-contact workshop is often the better choice.
Mats are mandatory because of the ground work. If there is enough clear space at the office, portable mats can be laid; otherwise the programme is run in a gym.
No. The programme starts from zero and most participants have never done a martial art. Techniques are taught one at a time, slowly and with stops.
Because there is no hard contact or free sparring the risk is controlled; even so, shoulder, knee and neck strains are possible in ground work. Warm-up is mandatory, the tap rule is applied without exception, and participants with existing conditions inform the coach.
