Corporate Aikido Workshop
The one martial art with no competition: redirecting incoming force instead of meeting it, worked slowly with a partner.
The one martial art with no competition: redirecting incoming force instead of meeting it, worked slowly with a partner.
Aikido is the only widely practised martial art with no competition. There are no tournaments, no scores and no winner; the work is always with a partner and the roles change continuously — one attacks, the other redirects, then they swap. In a corporate group this structure produces a rare environment in which competition is switched off.
Aikido does not meet incoming force with force. The direction of the attack is accepted, continued in a circular movement, and the attacker loses their balance in the continuation of their own move. It is a lesson that can be demonstrated physically in a few minutes but lasts considerably longer: resisting increases the force; redirecting gives you control.
The pace is low, there is no explosive movement and no strength is required. In a workshop a 25-year-old employee and a 55-year-old executive can work together comfortably in the same pair. Of the martial arts, it has the lowest fitness threshold — which makes it the one that works for a senior leadership group rather than a young team.
There is a separate workshop that carries the same principle directly to the negotiating table: "Counterattack Using Your Opponent's Strength". The aikido workshop focuses on the sport itself; the other focuses on the business application. For a leadership offsite, running the two together is a common request.
Our training curricula are structured around scientific movement mechanics, ergonomics, and safe posture development without overexerting corporate employees. Sessions are led by national athletes, federation-certified senior coaches, and sports physiotherapists. Facility hygiene, proper ventilation, surface safety, and first-aid measures are comprehensively maintained.
Timings integrate seamlessly with your company calendar: pre-shift morning awakenings, lunchtime mobility breaks, or post-work weekly sports club sessions. Programs can be held directly inside your corporate campus or at contracted top-tier athletic centers near your office. Differentiated beginner, intermediate, and advanced tracks ensure everyone progresses comfortably.
All training operations are governed by our TÜRSAB Group A-12558 corporate travel agency credentials and corporate service agreements. Upon receiving your employee headcount and desired frequency, we provide your line-item RFP proposal within 24 hours. Direct invoicing is available in USD, EUR, or TRY for global enterprises.
A single workshop does not confer self-defence competence and the programme does not promise it. What is gained is a bodily experience of a principle; most participants leave with that rather than with a technique.
No. The pace is low and there is no running or jumping. It has the lowest physical threshold of the martial arts, and a wide age range works comfortably in the same group — which is why it suits a senior group.
Yes, because of the falling work. Portable mats can be laid if there is enough clear space at the office. If the falling section is removed and only stance and redirection are worked, a mat surface can be sufficient.
Comfortable sportswear is enough; an aikido uniform is not mandatory. The session is done barefoot, and jewellery and watches are removed.
