Corporate Scuba Diving
A discover-scuba dive with an instructor: no certification required, limited depth, and one-to-one supervision throughout.
A discover-scuba dive with an instructor: no certification required, limited depth, and one-to-one supervision throughout.
Corporate diving programmes use the discover scuba format: no certification is needed, and the dive takes place with an instructor at limited depth. This is an experience in which the sport is introduced, not a course in which it is taught, and no diving qualification is issued.
Rafting and canoeing are team activities. Diving is not. Nobody speaks underwater, nobody separates from the group, and each participant concentrates on their own breathing. In a corporate group this shows itself clearly: diving is an individual experience rather than a team one, and the sharing starts after everyone is back on the surface. Plan it as the memorable personal moment of a programme, not as the exercise that gets a department working together.
The dive regions used — Kaş, Ayvalık, Saros and the area around Bodrum — sit on the Mediterranean and Aegean, within a short flight of most European and Gulf cities and with warm, clear water through a long season. For a team that would otherwise plan a dive experience much further away, the travel maths is the argument. Kaş in particular is a serious diving destination rather than a resort add-on, and is reached via Antalya or Dalaman.
In discover scuba the number of participants per instructor is limited for safety reasons. A group of 60 does not dive at once; participants are split and enter the water in rotation across the day, with a shore or on-boat programme planned for those waiting. This is the scheduling fact to build the day around — it is the one activity in this cluster that cannot be compressed by adding people.
May to October, when water temperature and visibility are at their best. This window sits comfortably inside the months most companies plan offsites, but the shoulder months at either end carry more variability in visibility than the middle of the season.
Employee safety is paramount across all our team building and sports experience operations. All technical gear (including CE and UIAA-certified helmets, harnesses, life vests, radios, or racing systems) meets stringent international safety benchmarks. Courses are facilitated by licensed instructors, federation trainers, and certified outdoor guides. Prior to activity commencement, comprehensive safety briefings are delivered, with certified first-aid paramedics stationed on site.
Every program is tailored to your team's age profile, physical readiness, and strategic objectives (such as cross-silo trust, problem solving, or decompression). Progressive difficulty tracks ensure even first-time beginners participate with confidence. Accommodating intimate executive offsites of 15 leaders up to company-wide festivals of 300+ delegates, simultaneous squad rotations guarantee seamless engagement.
All operations are backed by our TÜRSAB Group A-12558 licensed corporate travel agency accreditation. Share your expected headcount, date window, and add-on preferences (executive VIP shuttles, outdoor banquets, or luxury resort accommodation), and we deliver your official formal proposal within 24 hours. Direct corporate billing is supported in USD, EUR, or TRY for global clients.
No. The discover-scuba format requires no certificate; the dive is made with an instructor at limited depth. This is not a training course and it does not issue a diving qualification. If colleagues are already certified, that is worth flagging at booking so their dive can be planned separately.
Basic water confidence is expected. Non-swimmers are assessed case by case by the operator, and the shallow-water practice is the decisive stage. No participant who panics is ever pushed into the dive, and stepping out at that point is treated as a normal outcome rather than a failure.
Asthma, cardiovascular conditions, ear or sinus problems, epilepsy and pregnancy are all contraindications. A health declaration is completed at registration and medical clearance is requested in unclear cases. No alcohol for 24 hours before the dive. For incoming groups we send the declaration before travel, because this is the activity where an exclusion discovered on the day is hardest to absorb.
The number of participants per instructor is limited for safety. Larger groups enter the water in waves, with an on-boat or shore programme for those waiting. Build the day around this constraint rather than trying to compress it; it is fixed by safety ratios, not by capacity.
