Corporate Paragliding
A tandem flight with a pilot: no experience needed, 20-40 minutes in the air, and completely dependent on the weather.
A tandem flight with a pilot: no experience needed, 20-40 minutes in the air, and completely dependent on the weather.
Paragliding is the most weather-dependent activity in the corporate catalogue, and that single fact belongs at the centre of the planning rather than in the small print. If wind direction and strength are not suitable, the flight does not happen. This is not a preference; it is a safety rule.
The participant flies in front of a certified pilot, attached to the same wing. Beyond running a few steps at launch, no technical contribution is expected; the pilot handles the controls. Flight time varies with conditions, between 20 and 40 minutes.
For a local group a cancelled flight means rescheduling. For a team that has flown into Turkey for three days it means a hole in the programme that cannot be filled later. This is the activity where we insist on one of two structures before anything is booked: either a reserve day, or a named alternative in the same region — jeep safari, boat trip, canyon walk — held ready and agreed in writing. Building the programme so that the group is never left standing around is the most important detail in a corporate paragliding organisation, and it is the one most often left until the morning itself.
Weight limits apply and vary by operator, commonly with an upper bound around 100-110 kg. Cardiovascular conditions, recent surgery, serious back problems and pregnancy are all exclusions. A health declaration and liability form are signed. For incoming groups we send these ahead of travel — an exclusion discovered at the launch site is the worst possible time to find it.
Turkey has several established paragliding regions. Babadağ above Ölüdeniz is the one most international teams already know and has its own programme page; Pamukkale offers a flight over travertines and an ancient city and combines naturally with a cultural day. The choice follows where your programme already is.
Employee safety is paramount across all our team building and sports experience operations. All technical gear (including CE and UIAA-certified helmets, harnesses, life vests, radios, or racing systems) meets stringent international safety benchmarks. Courses are facilitated by licensed instructors, federation trainers, and certified outdoor guides. Prior to activity commencement, comprehensive safety briefings are delivered, with certified first-aid paramedics stationed on site.
Every program is tailored to your team's age profile, physical readiness, and strategic objectives (such as cross-silo trust, problem solving, or decompression). Progressive difficulty tracks ensure even first-time beginners participate with confidence. Accommodating intimate executive offsites of 15 leaders up to company-wide festivals of 300+ delegates, simultaneous squad rotations guarantee seamless engagement.
All operations are backed by our TÜRSAB Group A-12558 licensed corporate travel agency accreditation. Share your expected headcount, date window, and add-on preferences (executive VIP shuttles, outdoor banquets, or luxury resort accommodation), and we deliver your official formal proposal within 24 hours. Direct corporate billing is supported in USD, EUR, or TRY for global clients.
No. In a tandem flight the certified pilot handles the controls; the participant is only expected to run a few steps at launch. Almost every participant is flying for the first time, and briefings are delivered in English for international groups.
The flight does not go ahead. For this reason the programme is planned either with a reserve day or with an alternative activity held ready in the same region, and for corporate organisations that plan is written into the contract. For a team travelling from abroad, agree this before booking rather than on the day.
They vary by operator; a common upper limit is around 100-110 kg and a lower limit may also apply. Age limits are generally 16 or 18 and over, with parental consent required below 18. Share the limits with participants at sign-up so nobody travels expecting to fly and cannot.
It depends on the number of pilots and how long conditions stay suitable. For a group of 60 the day plan and pilot roster are calculated in advance. Waiting is unavoidable, so refreshments and shade are planned at the launch site.
