In short: In Izmir, horse riding is a calm team experience that can be done outdoors for most of the year thanks to the long season. The programme starts in the arena with an instructor leading; those who want to then move on to a short trail.
How it works in a corporate format
A corporate riding programme starts in the arena, an enclosed training area. This is far more controlled than starting out in open country: the horse stays within the instructor’s view and the even ground keeps the risk of stumbling low. Participants who want to, and are judged ready, then move on to a short trail. Communicating with a horse depends on calm, clear direction and trust, which makes it a strong shared experience for teams.
Programme flow
Getting to know the horse. Approaching, touching and reading the horse’s reactions.
Mounting and posture. Stirrup adjustment, seat and holding the reins.
Walking in the arena. Led walking with an instructor, then supervised free walking.
Short trail. Optional, on a trail depending on the venue.
