Overview
In short: the 4th European Games take place in Istanbul from 16 to 27 June 2027. For athletes, teams, clubs and federations preparing for the Games we build hotel + training facility packages in Istanbul: pre-Games preparation and acclimatisation camps, hire of the right hall, pool or track for your sport, hotel–venue transfers, menus suited to athletes, and accommodation for coaches, physios, families and sponsors who fall outside official accommodation. As a TÜRSAB-licensed travel agency (A-12558) we handle hotels and transfers, and as a corporate sports organiser we handle venues and training logistics, as one team.
Who is this package for?
At multi-sport games, accommodation for accredited athletes during the Games is usually arranged by the organising committee through the National Olympic Committees. Our package works around that official plan, not instead of it:
- Preparation and acclimatisation camps: national teams and athletes who want to arrive 1–3 weeks early to adapt to June heat, the time difference and the city.
- Non-accredited staff: extra coaches, physios, analysts and managers outside the quota, and athletes’ families.
- Club and federation delegations: teams travelling to qualification, test or preparation events held in Istanbul before the Games.
- Sponsor and support groups: club officials, sponsors and supporter groups who want to be there for their athletes.
What is included?
Accommodation
Hotels close to the training venue that fit an athlete’s rhythm: early breakfast, late dinner, a quiet floor, ice and laundry service, a meeting/video-analysis room. The delegation stays together in one hotel at one standard; because the city will be busy during the Games, room blocks are optioned early.
Training facilities
Depending on the sport: indoor halls, 25 m or 50 m pools, athletics tracks, strength and conditioning gyms, combat sports halls, racket courts, or suitable launch points for open water and rowing. Surface, equipment, time slots and distance from the hotel are assessed together; availability is confirmed by a site visit and a written booking.
Transport and logistics
Airport meet-and-greet (IST/SAW), equipment and oversized baggage handling, hotel–training–competition transfers. Istanbul traffic shapes every training plan, so transfer times are planned together with venue bookings.
Nutrition and recovery
Athlete-appropriate menus (high protein, carbohydrate loading, allergen-aware, halal and vegetarian options), post-training snacks, a massage and physio room, and hotels or venues with sauna or cold-plunge access where possible.
One point of contact
An English- and Turkish-speaking project manager, a daily run sheet and continuous contact with your team manager. Invoicing in USD, EUR or GBP for foreign federations.
Why arrive in Istanbul early?
Daytime temperatures in Istanbul in June are usually 25–30 °C, with high humidity. For athletes from Northern and Central Europe, a few days of acclimatisation makes a real difference. The city is large, so experiencing travel times to competition venues in advance also removes surprises on race day.
Planning timeline
The Games will push hotel demand in Istanbul up sharply, so we recommend optioning your room block several months ahead.
Important note
Kurumsal Sporlar is not an official supplier of the European Olympic Committees (EOC) or the Istanbul 2027 organising committee. Accreditation, official athlete accommodation and the competition schedule are managed by the organising committee and the National Olympic Committees; we cover the accommodation, training and logistics needs outside that official plan.
