Capoeira is a Brazilian discipline that gives no firm answer to the question of whether it is a martial art or a dance, and its most distinctive feature for a corporate workshop is this: the game is played inside a circle, accompanied by music. Those forming the circle clap and sing; the two people in the middle move without touching each other.
Capoeira's basic step is the ginga — a continuous, swaying movement. Unlike other martial arts there is no standing still in capoeira; the player is constantly in motion. That single step is learned in the first half hour of the workshop and everything else is built on it.
For a group drawn from several countries, this is one of the few activities where no nationality has an advantage and nobody's school sports background matters. It is also loud, musical and collective rather than competitive, which changes the room quickly — the circle means everyone is participating even when only two people are moving. Where the objective is that a group that has only met on video calls stops being formal with each other, this does it faster than an exercise designed to.
A circular clear area is needed, sized to the number of participants; roughly 40 m² suits 20 people. A level floor worked barefoot is appropriate. An office, an outdoor area or a hall can be used.
Our training curricula are structured around scientific movement mechanics, ergonomics, and safe posture development without overexerting corporate employees. Sessions are led by national athletes, federation-certified senior coaches, and sports physiotherapists. Facility hygiene, proper ventilation, surface safety, and first-aid measures are comprehensively maintained.
Timings integrate seamlessly with your company calendar: pre-shift morning awakenings, lunchtime mobility breaks, or post-work weekly sports club sessions. Programs can be held directly inside your corporate campus or at contracted top-tier athletic centers near your office. Differentiated beginner, intermediate, and advanced tracks ensure everyone progresses comfortably.
All training operations are governed by our TÜRSAB Group A-12558 corporate travel agency credentials and corporate service agreements. Upon receiving your employee headcount and desired frequency, we provide your line-item RFP proposal within 24 hours. Direct invoicing is available in USD, EUR, or TRY for global enterprises.
No. Capoeira's well-known acrobatic movements are advanced and are not taught in a corporate workshop. The programme is limited to the ginga, basic evasive movements and low-level kicks.
None. Movements in capoeira are made without touching; the game is built on distance and timing rather than contact.
Participation is voluntary, but the music is an inseparable part of the workshop. Clapping and singing are the simplest form of participation available to everyone, and those who want to try an instrument are given the opportunity.
The ginga requires continuous movement so the tempo is moderate, but the speed is under each participant's own control. Low movements are adapted for participants with knee conditions.
