A partner dance learned in open position with hand contact: the eight-count rhythm, turn patterns and continuous partner rotation.
Salsa is the partner dance best suited to a corporate setting because it is danced in open position: partners hold hands, an arm's length stays between them and there is no body contact. In a workplace where close contact could make people uncomfortable, that difference is decisive.
Salsa's rhythm divides into eight counts, but steps are taken on only six of them; there is a pause on four and on eight. The most common beginner error is trying to fill those pauses. The first half hour of the workshop goes entirely on the count — once the count settles, the figures follow on their own.
Whether a person is comfortable dancing with a colleague varies, and in a group drawn from several countries you will not know in advance. The way to run it well is not to guess but to structure it: say in the invitation that this is a partner dance in open position with hand contact and no body contact, and that participation is entirely optional. People then decide for themselves, quietly, before they arrive. Where you would rather not ask the question at all, zumba, hip-hop or the folk dance workshop give a group dance with no pairing.
Because it is a partner dance, roughly 3 m² per participant is needed — twice what zumba requires. A level, non-slip floor and a sound system are enough.
Our training curricula are structured around scientific movement mechanics, ergonomics, and safe posture development without overexerting corporate employees. Sessions are led by national athletes, federation-certified senior coaches, and sports physiotherapists. Facility hygiene, proper ventilation, surface safety, and first-aid measures are comprehensively maintained.
Timings integrate seamlessly with your company calendar: pre-shift morning awakenings, lunchtime mobility breaks, or post-work weekly sports club sessions. Programs can be held directly inside your corporate campus or at contracted top-tier athletic centers near your office. Differentiated beginner, intermediate, and advanced tracks ensure everyone progresses comfortably.
All training operations are governed by our TÜRSAB Group A-12558 corporate travel agency credentials and corporate service agreements. Upon receiving your employee headcount and desired frequency, we provide your line-item RFP proposal within 24 hours. Direct invoicing is available in USD, EUR, or TRY for global enterprises.
No. The workshop runs on partner rotation and participants change partners continuously. There is no disadvantage whatsoever for someone attending alone.
Imbalance is common and the rotation system manages it. The instructor builds the cycle so that nobody is left out; if needed, both the lead and follow roles are taught to everyone, which also makes the dance easier to learn.
Salsa is danced in open position: hands are held and there is no body contact. That distinguishes it from bachata and tango and makes it more widely acceptable in a corporate setting. State it in the invitation so people know before they arrive.
No. The workshop starts from the basic step. In a single session participants learn the rhythm, the basic step and a few turn patterns, and can dance to music by the close.
