Corporate Fencing Workshop
One-on-one duelling under full protection: masks and jackets make contact safe, and distance and timing decide the result.
One-on-one duelling under full protection: masks and jackets make contact safe, and distance and timing decide the result.
Fencing is the rare corporate workshop that involves direct one-on-one combat while making it completely safe. Mask, jacket and glove protect the participant from head to foot, and the blades are flexible and blunt. There is contact, but there is no impact.
What decides a bout in fencing is not speed and strength but a sense of distance and timing. Retreating while the opponent attacks, replying before their attack finishes, creating an opening with a feint — none of these requires physical superiority. In a corporate group, differences in age and fitness therefore do not decide the result.
Two people face each other and the result is unambiguous — a touch scores. That clarity removes the "who actually contributed" vagueness of team games. The rituals of the sport — the salute, the deference to the referee — carry its own culture across and give the workshop an unusual seriousness. For a group of senior colleagues or visiting clients who will not put on a harness or get wet, this is one of the very few activities that offers genuine competition while everyone keeps their composure.
All equipment is provided; comfortable sportswear is enough. People with cardiovascular conditions are advised to seek medical opinion, but otherwise it suits a wide age range.
Employee safety is paramount across all our team building and sports experience operations. All technical gear (including CE and UIAA-certified helmets, harnesses, life vests, radios, or racing systems) meets stringent international safety benchmarks. Courses are facilitated by licensed instructors, federation trainers, and certified outdoor guides. Prior to activity commencement, comprehensive safety briefings are delivered, with certified first-aid paramedics stationed on site.
Every program is tailored to your team's age profile, physical readiness, and strategic objectives (such as cross-silo trust, problem solving, or decompression). Progressive difficulty tracks ensure even first-time beginners participate with confidence. Accommodating intimate executive offsites of 15 leaders up to company-wide festivals of 300+ delegates, simultaneous squad rotations guarantee seamless engagement.
All operations are backed by our TÜRSAB Group A-12558 licensed corporate travel agency accreditation. Share your expected headcount, date window, and add-on preferences (executive VIP shuttles, outdoor banquets, or luxury resort accommodation), and we deliver your official formal proposal within 24 hours. Direct corporate billing is supported in USD, EUR, or TRY for global clients.
No. The blades are flexible and blunt, and the mask, jacket and glove provide full protection. A touch is felt but it is not an impact. In a corporate workshop every bout is refereed by the instructor.
It is not decisive. In fencing a sense of distance and timing matters more than speed and strength. Participants across a wide age and fitness range take part comfortably in the same workshop.
Yes, all of it: mask, jacket, glove and blade. Participants only need comfortable sportswear and trainers, which makes it easy to run for a group travelling without kit.
4 to 30 people. Because only a limited number of bouts can run at once, larger groups work in rotation, with those waiting taking referee and observer roles.
