Corporate Bocce and Petanque Event
A low-tempo precision game: no age or fitness gap, played while talking, and it can be set up on almost any surface.
A low-tempo precision game: no age or fitness gap, played while talking, and it can be set up on almost any surface.
Bocce and petanque are precision games in which players try to land their throw closest to a target ball. Their place in the corporate catalogue is clear: a station that needs no running, no contact and no fitness, and that is played while talking.
At a mixed-attendance event such as a company festival or family day there is always a group who cannot join the active stations: older participants, those who are pregnant, people recovering from surgery, parents with babies. Bocce rescues that group from sitting at the side — they join a real game with real competition rather than watching one.
There is a second use worth knowing about. Where a company is hosting visiting clients or senior colleagues, the problem is usually that nobody wants to change clothes or exert themselves but everybody is tired of standing around with a drink. This is the station that solves it: it is genuinely competitive, takes twenty minutes, needs no equipment anyone has to bring, and the whole thing is conducted in conversation. It works in a hotel garden as easily as on a pitch.
Petanque is played on gravel and packed earth, bocce on grass and level ground. Neither needs a dedicated court: a garden, park, beach or car park can be used. Setup takes a few minutes and the equipment is compact.
Usually planned as one station within a larger event. It can also be run as a standalone corporate tournament, in which case a day programme is built around eight to twelve teams and the conversational nature of the game keeps participants talking to each other all day.
Employee safety is paramount across all our team building and sports experience operations. All technical gear (including CE and UIAA-certified helmets, harnesses, life vests, radios, or racing systems) meets stringent international safety benchmarks. Courses are facilitated by licensed instructors, federation trainers, and certified outdoor guides. Prior to activity commencement, comprehensive safety briefings are delivered, with certified first-aid paramedics stationed on site.
Every program is tailored to your team's age profile, physical readiness, and strategic objectives (such as cross-silo trust, problem solving, or decompression). Progressive difficulty tracks ensure even first-time beginners participate with confidence. Accommodating intimate executive offsites of 15 leaders up to company-wide festivals of 300+ delegates, simultaneous squad rotations guarantee seamless engagement.
All operations are backed by our TÜRSAB Group A-12558 licensed corporate travel agency accreditation. Share your expected headcount, date window, and add-on preferences (executive VIP shuttles, outdoor banquets, or luxury resort accommodation), and we deliver your official formal proposal within 24 hours. Direct corporate billing is supported in USD, EUR, or TRY for global clients.
No. There is no running, jumping or contact; the game consists of standing and throwing. In terms of age, fitness and mobility it is one of the most inclusive formats in the corporate catalogue.
No dedicated court is needed. Petanque works on gravel and packed earth, bocce on grass and level ground; a garden, park, beach or car park can be used. Setup takes a few minutes, which is why it works in a hotel garden during a conference.
It can; a day programme can be built around a tournament of eight to twelve teams. Its most common use, though, is as one station within a wider event such as a company festival or family day.
The rules are similar; the main difference is the surface and the ball type. Petanque uses metal balls on gravel, bocce uses larger balls on grass or level ground. The choice follows the venue.
