Köprülü Canyon is where most corporate rafting in Turkey happens, for three practical reasons: proximity to Antalya, density of infrastructure and a long season. For a team flying in, it is also the rafting destination in Turkey with the shortest chain between landing and being on the water.
Antalya is served by a large international airport with direct flights from much of Europe and the Gulf, and the transfer inland to the canyon is roughly an hour and a half. That means a group can land the evening before, raft the next morning and still have the afternoon for something else. Compare that with rafting destinations that require a domestic connection and a long road transfer and the difference in usable programme time is most of a day.
The classic corporate descent on the Köprüçay runs 12-14 km and takes about two to two and a half hours. The grade is mostly II-III and requires no experience. The route runs inside Köprülü Canyon National Park — the section between the canyon walls is the strongest part of the day visually, and the part your internal communications team will use afterwards.
The operating window is April to October. The Köprüçay is spring-fed, so it stays noticeably cool even in high summer — which turns into an advantage in the July and August heat, when a group arriving from northern Europe will find the coastal temperature harder than the water. In spring the flow is high and the water genuinely cold, so wetsuits are used and are included.
Rafting here is rarely planned on its own. Jeep safari, zipline or a canyon walk are added the same day to build a full-day adventure programme. For a two or three day incoming offsite, this is normally the outdoor day, with a meeting or dinner block on either side.
Employee safety is paramount across all our team building and sports experience operations. All technical gear (including CE and UIAA-certified helmets, harnesses, life vests, radios, or racing systems) meets stringent international safety benchmarks. Courses are facilitated by licensed instructors, federation trainers, and certified outdoor guides. Prior to activity commencement, comprehensive safety briefings are delivered, with certified first-aid paramedics stationed on site.
Every program is tailored to your team's age profile, physical readiness, and strategic objectives (such as cross-silo trust, problem solving, or decompression). Progressive difficulty tracks ensure even first-time beginners participate with confidence. Accommodating intimate executive offsites of 15 leaders up to company-wide festivals of 300+ delegates, simultaneous squad rotations guarantee seamless engagement.
All operations are backed by our TÜRSAB Group A-12558 licensed corporate travel agency accreditation. Share your expected headcount, date window, and add-on preferences (executive VIP shuttles, outdoor banquets, or luxury resort accommodation), and we deliver your official formal proposal within 24 hours. Direct corporate billing is supported in USD, EUR, or TRY for global clients.
For groups already staying in Antalya the single-day format is ideal. Teams travelling from another city or country need at least one night, and rafting is then planned as one component of a two-day Antalya programme. Antalya's direct international flight connections are what make that two-day version practical for an incoming team.
The classic corporate route is 12-14 km and takes about two to two and a half hours. That range covers total time on the water including breaks and swim stops. Shorter route options are available, which is useful when the group has a mixed appetite for time in cold water.
The Köprüçay is spring-fed and stays cool even in summer. In the July and August heat most groups find that an advantage. In spring the water is noticeably cold, so wetsuits are used and this equipment is included rather than charged separately.
Facility capacity in the area allows groups of 60 in a single wave. Larger groups go onto the water in two waves with a parallel activity planned for those waiting. For a company offsite this is worth confirming early, because it decides whether the day has one schedule or two.
