Çeşme offers the most predictable wind in Turkey for a corporate sailing event. In summer the northerly meltemi sets in around midday almost every day and builds steadily through the afternoon. That consistency means sailing times can be put in a schedule — in a sailing event, it means the most critical variable becomes predictable.
The same breeze is why Alaçatı became an international centre for wind sports. For sailing, it means a day on which the team genuinely sails rather than motors around.
The prevailing wind is north to north-westerly. On a typical summer day the morning is calm, the breeze begins to set in around 11:00–12:00 and reaches its strongest between 14:00 and 17:00. This is why programmes are structured with a briefing ashore in the morning and sailing in the afternoon.
The practical consequence: a programme that starts late in the morning misses the best wind of the day. In Çeşme, scheduling matters as much as choosing the location.
July and August are Çeşme's busiest period: accommodation prices rise, marina capacity tightens and boats must be booked months ahead. The same programme can be run in May–June or September at a markedly lower cost and in more comfortable conditions, and the wind in those months is better suited to training.
On days when the meltemi blows hard, the wind can reach a level that is demanding for inexperienced participants. In that case the course is shortened or moved to a sheltered route; the decision is made by the instructor on the morning of the sail.
We plan 6–10 participants per boat for a mini sailing skills race and 5–8 for training. At least 3–4 boats are recommended for a competitive feel; a group of 40 is typically split across 5–6 boats. Total group size can be 4–150 people; a team of four can do training or a boat day on a single boat.
Headcount, date range, preferred format (mini sailing skills race / training / experience) and a budget band are enough. Transfers, accommodation, catering, the award ceremony and photo and video production are planned as separate items.

A full-day mini sailing skills race, 1–2 day sailing training, a half-day experience sail, and a mixed programme (one day sailing, one day of team activities ashore). A rotation is recommended for groups above 60.

Çeşme is about 1.5 hours from İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport, so travel from other cities can be handled in a single day. Transfers, accommodation and an evening programme are included on request.
