Corporate Bachata Workshop
The fastest-learned Latin dance with its simple four-count rhythm: side steps and a hip accent, with the dance distance set for a corporate setting.
The fastest-learned Latin dance with its simple four-count rhythm: side steps and a hip accent, with the dance distance set for a corporate setting.
Bachata is the fastest-learned of the Latin dances, and there is a technical reason: the rhythm divides into four counts, the steps go sideways, and on the fourth count the foot lifts with a hip accent. Compared with salsa's eight counts and pauses, that is a rhythm roughly half as complex.
The common social form of bachata is in close position. In a corporate workshop that is not used. The programme is run in open position with hand contact; figures involving body contact and the sensual variation are not included. This choice is confirmed with the company beforehand and announced to participants at the opening — so nobody encounters a closeness they were not expecting.
For a group that has travelled in, this matters more than it does locally. Bachata has a reputation, and a colleague who has seen it danced socially may reasonably assume the corporate version is the same. Writing one line in the invitation — open position, hand contact only, participation optional — settles it before anyone arrives and means nobody has to decline in front of the room. If you would rather avoid the question entirely, the folk dance or drumming workshops give the same shared-experience outcome with no pairing at all.
Ideal for groups wanting a concrete outcome from a short event of 60 to 90 minutes — participants leave genuinely feeling they can dance. In a longer programme it is often built alongside salsa so the two can be compared.
Our training curricula are structured around scientific movement mechanics, ergonomics, and safe posture development without overexerting corporate employees. Sessions are led by national athletes, federation-certified senior coaches, and sports physiotherapists. Facility hygiene, proper ventilation, surface safety, and first-aid measures are comprehensively maintained.
Timings integrate seamlessly with your company calendar: pre-shift morning awakenings, lunchtime mobility breaks, or post-work weekly sports club sessions. Programs can be held directly inside your corporate campus or at contracted top-tier athletic centers near your office. Differentiated beginner, intermediate, and advanced tracks ensure everyone progresses comfortably.

Bachata is markedly easier: the rhythm has four counts, the steps go sideways and the music is slower. Bachata is preferred for short events and salsa for longer programmes.
No. The workshop runs on partner rotation; participants change partners continuously and any imbalance in numbers is managed by the instructor.
By the end of a single 60 to 90 minute session participants can perform the basic step and a few turns to music. This is the dance workshop that produces a concrete result fastest.
