In short: What makes archery stand out in Ankara is that it doesn’t depend on the season. From November to March, when outdoor programmes are risky, archery runs just as well in an indoor hall; in spring and autumn it moves to your campus grounds or open space. It is one of the easiest activities to schedule after work for public institutions and technology companies.
How it works in a corporate format
Archery is one of the great levellers among corporate activities: fitness, age and sporting background make little difference; what matters is stance, breath and the release. Someone holding a bow for the first time can hit the target on their second arrow. The group starts with modern bows for quick success, then anyone who wants to can try the traditional Turkish bow.
Programme flow
Safety briefing. One-way shooting line, the arrow-collection rule and arm guards.
Stance and practice. Stance, nocking, draw and release with a coach; unscored practice ends.
Team competition. Teams of 3–4, 10-to-1 ring scoring and a live scoreboard.
Final and awards. The best teams meet head to head in a final; trophy and photo moment.
Where and when in Ankara
In winter we use indoor sports halls; in spring and autumn, campuses and open ground. Archery can also be combined on the same day with city programmes such as the Citadel–Hamamönü treasure hunt.

Safety
The shooting line is one-way and separated from the area behind it by a barrier. Arrows are collected only on the coach’s command, after all shooting has stopped. The bowstring hitting the forearm is the most common minor injury, and arm guards prevent it.

Yes. The programme starts with a briefing and unscored practice ends; no fitness or strength is needed.
Can you set up archery at our office?
A garden, car park or indoor hall with 10–18 metres from line to target and a safe zone behind is enough; we bring the equipment and barriers.
