Unroped climbing at low height over mats: problem-solving led, no queuing, and continuous attempts throughout the session.
Unroped climbing at low height over mats: problem-solving led, no queuing, and continuous attempts throughout the session.
Bouldering is climbing without rope or belayer, a few metres off the ground and over thick mats. For a corporate group the difference from roped climbing is flow: there is no belay setup, no pairing and no queue. A participant walks to the wall, tries, falls, and tries again.
Bouldering routes are called problems, and the naming is not accidental. Each route is a puzzle to be solved with specific holds, and sequence, balance and body position matter far more than strength. Participants watching a route, discussing it, trying different solutions and then applying the method one of them found — that cycle forms on its own in a corporate group, without a facilitator introducing it. It is the closest thing in this cluster to an activity that resembles how the group actually works.
Indoor bouldering centres are in cities, need no transfer, cannot be rained off and produce a full session in two hours. For a team that has flown in and has one free evening rather than one free day, this is the activity that fits. Colour-coded grading also means a mixed-ability international group sorts itself within the first fifteen minutes with no assessment and no awkwardness.
Falls are onto mats and falling technique — controlled landing, bending the knees, not leaning back — is taught in the first section. Participants with wrist or shoulder conditions are asked to inform the instructor. Because the height is lower than in roped climbing, fear of heights causes markedly less difficulty, which widens participation.
Employee safety is paramount across all our team building and sports experience operations. All technical gear (including CE and UIAA-certified helmets, harnesses, life vests, radios, or racing systems) meets stringent international safety benchmarks. Courses are facilitated by licensed instructors, federation trainers, and certified outdoor guides. Prior to activity commencement, comprehensive safety briefings are delivered, with certified first-aid paramedics stationed on site.
Every program is tailored to your team's age profile, physical readiness, and strategic objectives (such as cross-silo trust, problem solving, or decompression). Progressive difficulty tracks ensure even first-time beginners participate with confidence. Accommodating intimate executive offsites of 15 leaders up to company-wide festivals of 300+ delegates, simultaneous squad rotations guarantee seamless engagement.
All operations are backed by our TÜRSAB Group A-12558 licensed corporate travel agency accreditation. Share your expected headcount, date window, and add-on preferences (executive VIP shuttles, outdoor banquets, or luxury resort accommodation), and we deliver your official formal proposal within 24 hours. Direct corporate billing is supported in USD, EUR, or TRY for global clients.
Bouldering is unroped, at low height and over mats. Because no belayer is needed there is no queuing and far more attempts happen in the same time. Roped climbing goes higher and builds a mutual trust relationship between two people. They serve different objectives, and it is worth deciding which one you actually want.
Only climbing shoes, which are hired at the centre. No harness, rope or helmet is required. Comfortable sportswear is enough, which makes this one of the easiest activities to attach to a programme at short notice.
Yes. Colour-coded routes mean everyone chooses a problem at their own level, and the easiest routes are not much harder than climbing stairs. Attempts are short and the breaks are under each participant's own control, which is why this works across a wide age range.
4 to 30 people. With larger groups wall density rises and queuing begins; at that scale the group is split into two sessions, or a roped climbing area is added to the programme. Do not try to run 60 people through a bouldering session in one block.
